Brian has over 40 years experience in entrepreneurship with a focus on technology. Considered one of the pioneers of science and technology strategic communications, he founded Technology Solutions, Inc. with his wife in 1983. Currently, he is the chairman of the New York Angels. He is author of the book, “What Every Angel Investor Wants You to Know.”

Founded and sold a number of tech publishing and consulting businesses. Having built and ran one of the largest Angel Groups in the world - The New York Angels (12 years).

Investment Approach: What are the key factors you consider when evaluating a founding team?

1. How in control the founders are of their business. 2. How smart the founders are in raising smart money 3. Their desire to be well coached. 4. The interest to be leaders in a sizable market opportunity.

What do you like best about investing in NYC, and what’s your outlook on the future of NYC tech?

NYC is great incubator where everyone wants to help. Unfortunately Covid halted an amazing run of successes where new innovation will rise.
