Worked in finance before co-founding a venture backed startup and then switching over to the investing side.

What's your style and approach when it comes to working with founders post-investment? What are the characteristics of founders you've worked well with?

We are as helpful as founders want us to be. I work well with people who ask for what they want and are honest in their situations.

If I'm coming to pitch to you or your firm, what's the one piece of advice you'd give me?

Be good at explaining why you and your team are best suited to solve this. Know your market well.

How would you describe your own personal mission and values, and how do they impact the way you invest?

I try to be open-minded when evaluating potential investments. This means there is no criteria other than the company fits the stage and sector our fund operates in.

What do you like best about investing in NYC, and what’s your outlook on the future of NYC tech?

My favorite part about investing in NYC is the community. The founders and investors make this job fun. Given that NYC attracts the best people, my outlook on the future on tech here is very positive.
